Nod to 4-laning of Jorhat-Demow h'way stretch in Assam

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has given its approval for four laning of the Jorhat to Demow section of National Highway-37 in Assam. The approval has been given under the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme in North Eastern Region (SARDP-NE) Phase ‘A’ on Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT-Annuity) in Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) pattern.

Centre okays Rs 2,000 cr JNPT road project

A project to upgrade a road to Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) in Mumbai has been approved by the Union government on September 23. The road project involves a total expenditure of Rs 1,943.37 crore. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the road development project, to be undertaken by Mumbai JNPT Port Road Company (MJPRCL).

Chennai outer ring road to be built at Rs 985 cr

For the road development project of Chennai Outer Ring Road Phase II, Ashoka Buildcon company along with GVR Infra Projects has formed a consortium of 50:50 per cent and submitted a bid to the Tamil Nadu Road Development Company (TNRDC). The Ring Road Phase II is to be constructed from Nemilicheri on NH 205 to Minjur on Thiruvottiyur-Ponneri-Panchetti (TPP) Road on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) annuity basis.
