The agreement for the credit was signed in Delhi recently by Nilaya Mitash, Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Government of India and Onno Ruhl, Country Director, World Bank on behalf of the World Bank.

Under the central government's Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana scheme, the turnkey project has been awarded to IL&FS and is valued at Rs 149.68 crore.
