Monorail starts operation in Mumbai

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan inaugurated India´s first Monorail in Mumbai connecting Wadala with Chembur in the first phase. The Rs 2,460 crore (excluding taxes) Monorail project is being implemented in two phases - Chembur to Wadala (8.93 km) and Wadala to Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk (10.24 km). The construction of the second phase is in progress in full swing.

Navi Mumbai airport project gets nod for RFQ

The Union government has accorded its green signal for the proposed Navi Mumbai international airport project to float the Request For Qualification (RFQ).
