Vijaya Bank announces financial results

The Board of Directors of Vijaya Bank has approved the reviewed financial results of the bank for the quarter ended June 30th, 2014.

Total business for the period ended June 30th, 2014 registered a growth of 12.94 per cent and increased to Rs 1,95,768 crore from Rs 1,73,333 crore as of 30th June, 2013. Deposits increased from Rs 1,05,368 crore as on 30th June, 2013 to Rs 1,18,677 crore as on 30th June, 2014, up by 12.63 per cent.

Advances increased to Rs 77,091 crore from Rs 67,964 crore, up by 13.43 per cent. Priority Sector portfolio increased by 32.38 per cent, from Rs 19,005 crore to Rs 25,158 crore. MSME advances increased to Rs 12,243 crore, registering a growth of 16.27 per cent. Retail advances increased to Rs 15,945 crore, up by 18.12 per cent.
