Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas has launched three landmark initiatives for energy efficiency.

The north division of the Public Works Department (PWD) of the Maharashtra government is undertaking construction of roads, bridges, hospital buildings and other civic infrastructure projects. The division, which is headed by executive engineer Satish Chikhlikar, was allocated an annual sum of Rs 40 crore in 2012-13.
