Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla commissioned a 3 MW solar power plant at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala (Kerala) on Wednesday via virtual conferencing.

In Kerala's Kannur region, the railway overbridge at Kotti, near Payyannur, has finally become a reality, and the State Chief Minister OommenChandy will open it for traffic shortly. Though the works of a major part of the bridge as well as the approach roads were completed in time, in March 2012, the commissioning of the bridge got delayed because of the delay in the work of the span over the railway lines, as they were waiting for the clearance from the Railway Safety Commission to get the work

The state government states that the growth rate of the state has been growing close to nine per cent, and very soon Kerala will become the fastest growing state in the country.
