Richa Industries Limited, a construction and engineering company, has secured an order worth Rs 35 crore from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for constructing six elevated Metro stations on the Mukundpur-Shiv Vihar Corridor and a depot-cum-workshop of the Jahangirpuri-Badli Corridor Phase III of Delhi MRTS.

Construction and engineering firm Richa Industries has got an order from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for constructing a pre-engineered building to be used for assembling masts and composite structures.

Construction & engineering major Richa Industries has secured an order from IRCON International Limited, a government-owned company incorporated by the Ministry of Railways, for the construction of five pre-engineered buildings (PEB) at Rourkela, Odisha, for the Indian Railways.

Clearly, the government had saved the best for the last, with a flurry of policy decisions at the year end. Infrastructure is clearly in for better times in 2016. The year 2015 was generally a positive one for the economy, although bumpy.

The year 2016 seems promising for the ailing infrastructure sector, but it needs to be driven by proactive action.
