NTPC Ltd’s very first unit at Singrauli in Uttar Pradesh has achieved the highest plant load factor (PLF) of 100.24 per cent among all thermal units in the country between April 2020 to December 2020, data published by Central Electricity Authority (CEA) showed.

MP Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) plans to undertake development of airport and city side facilities in Singrauli District, Madhya Pradesh.

NTPC will construct a 2,640 MW power plant in Barethi in Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh (MP) at a cost of about Rs 18,000 crore. The project will comprise four unit of 660 MW each. According to Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Power Minister, the Barethi power project is an important milestone for the state as well as the entire country. The power project will help to make Bundelkhand one of the most prosperous regions of the state.

Gammon Infrastructure Projects has received financial closures for five road projects spread across different states. The company received a total grant of over Rs 1,000 crore for these projects, according to Parag Parikh, ED and CFO, Gammon Infra. The five road projects include Yamunanagar-Panchkula in Haryana, Patna-Buxar in Bihar, Sidhi-Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh, Birmitrapur Barkote in Orissa and Vijayawada Gundugolanu in Andhra Pradesh.
