Tourism infra deal

For development of tourism infrastructure in the state, Himachal Pradesh government, signed a $95.16 million loan ag­reement with Asian Develop­m­ent Bank (ADB). Under the agreement, ADB would prov­ide $95.16 million to the state for developing tourism infrastr­ucture and the project will be executed on 90:10 ratio of gra­nt and loan component bo­rne by the central and state gov­ern­ments. As per the policy, the state will only bear 10 per cent loan liability. The investment programme of the prestigious project ends on June 30, 2020.
