Aatmanirbhar Bharat Logo Contest Announced to Encourage Spirit of Innovation & Self-Reliance

Aatmanirbhar Bharat Logo Contest Announced to Encourage Spirit of Innovation & Self-Reliance

Web Exclusive  /  Aug 03, 2020

The Govt of India is looking to have a distinct identity for its ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ or self-reliant India campaign through a logo based on creative and innovative inputs from the citizens of the country through the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Logo Design Contest’ held on MyGov.in. The last date of submission of entries is August 5 till 11.45 pm. The winning logo will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000.

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in the nation’s governance and development. MyGov has crowdsourced many logos of various departments and initiatives like Swachh Bharat, DekhoApnaDesh, Lokpal.

Under the prime minister’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the country seeks to demonstrate how it can rise up to challenges to uncover new opportunities. This is evident in the fact that from zero production of personal protection equipment (PPE) before March 2020, India has today created a capacity of producing 200,000 PPE kits daily.

Additionally, India has demonstrated how it rises up to challenges and uncovers opportunities therein, as manifested in the re-purposing of various automobile sector industries to collaborate in the making of life-saving ventilators.

Participants can direct their queries about the contest to connect@mygov.nic.in.

Agree. Developing a domestic transshipment port is a good idea if we talk about seaports, there are several countries and commercial centers around the world that don’t have a seaport and these countries have to use the seaports of other countries in order to import or export their cargo, which will give a competitive advantage.
