Air Products’ Indian arm gets new MD

New York-based Air Products and Chemical Inc. announced that it has appointed Anand Chordia as Managing Director, Prodair Air Products India Pvt. Ltd; as well as head of Air Products’ world-class Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) centre in Pune, India. Anand Chordia succeeds Sadhan Banerjee, Managing Director, Air Products India.

Anand joins Air Products from Larsen & Toubro, where since 2017 he was Global Delivery head – Plant Engineering Business Unit for L&T Technology Services and was responsible and accountable for leading a business unit with over 1000 staff based across Vadodara, Mumbai and Chennai, India. Prior to that, Anand served as vice president – Project Execution for Linde Engineering India Pvt. Ltd.

In the meantime, we would like to inform our readers that the current edition (April-June 2019) of Infrastructure Today has carried an interview with Sadhan Banerjee. The interview was taken while he was the Managing Director of Air Products India. However, as Sadhan Banerjee is no longer with the Company, the interview published in the magazine will not be available on any digital platform of Infrastructure Today.
