The country’s second-largest manufacturer of electric power transmission towers and one of the world’s largest power transmission engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies, KEC International Ltd has secured new orders worth Rs 11.92 billion across its various businesses.
KEC’s transmission & distribution (T&D) business and SAE Towers have secured orders of Rs 8.21 billion for T&D projects in India, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region, Malaysia, Africa and the Americas. The company’s urban infra business has secured an order of Rs 1.46 billion from the Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) for the construction of viaduct along with station for the Phase-1 extension of the project.
The civil business has obtained an order of Rs 570 million for infra works in the warehousing space in India. The cables business has secured orders of Rs 1.68 billion for various types of cables as well as cabling projects in the country.
