KEC International Wins New Orders of Rs 10.33 Billion

Global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction major, KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders worth Rs 10.33 crore across its various verticals.

KEC’s transmission & distribution has secured orders of Rs 8.9 billion for projects in India, Africa, East Asia Pacific and the Americas. The company’s railway business has secured orders of Rs 790 million for signalling & telecommunication (S&T) and metro electrification works within the country.

The company’s cables business has secured orders of Rs 640 million for various types of cables and cabling projects in India and overseas.

Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & CEO, KEC commented, “We are happy with the new order wins amidst global upheavals. Our International order book has strengthened significantly in the last few months, especially in the Middle East and Africa regions. In line with our strategy to diversify into new segments, we are pleased with the order win for metro electrification works, which marks our entry into the technologically enabled areas of urban infra.”

A flagship company of the RPG Group, KEC has a presence in the power transmission & distribution, railways, civil, solar, smart infrastructure and cable businesses. The company is currently executing infrastructure projects in over 30 countries and has a footprint in more than 100 countries including areas of EPC and supply.
