Web Exclusive  /  Mar 23, 2017

Nila Infrastructures Ltd has accepted Letters of Acceptance for two key projects awarded by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) to construct Bus Terminal Facilities (BTF).

In a move to improve the urban transport infrastructure, the Amreli BT facility has been awarded individually to Nila Infrastructures Limited while the Modasa BT facility has been awarded to it in consortium with Vyapti Infrabuild Pvt Ltd. Nila Infrastructures holds a share of 34 per cent.

The projects entail an iconic structure and design fortified with modern facilities that integrate commercial facilities on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (“DBFOT”) basis.

“In line with our vision to contribute to the economic prosperity and growth through participation in projects of national importance, we have got this opportunity to provide a travelling experience to the passengers of GSRTC. These are landmark projects for us as the company breaks new grounds and graduates further within the civic urban infrastructure business. It will provide additional opportunities to the company in civic transport and logistics- related construction business, which has abundant prospects. We believe the introduction of
Goods and Services Tax (GST) will also act as a catalyst for growth,” said Manoj Vadodaria, CMD, Nila Infrastructures Ltd.

The BTF construction envisages the development of latest infrastructure comprising bus bays, administrative area, operating area, works or repairs area and passenger amenities, among others.

Agree. Developing a domestic transshipment port is a good idea if we talk about seaports, there are several countries and commercial centers around the world that don’t have a seaport and these countries have to use the seaports of other countries in order to import or export their cargo, which will give a competitive advantage.
