Power utility Tata Power-Delhi Distribution Ltd (DDL) has added the ‘Powering Fight Against Corona’ (section on its official website (www.tatapower-ddl.com) to provide all information regarding initiatives undertaken by the company and other special facilities for consumers. The website is very popular among consumers with over 200,000 visiting it on a monthly basis for availing various services like bill payment, new connection, schemes and offers, feedback, etc.
According to a company statement, it was observed that during the lockdown, the number of visitors on the website has increased by 20-25 per cent.
The new section on its website provides special Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) orders and guidelines with frequently asked questions, rebate schemes offered for timely payment, digital services available for the consumers through WhatsApp and other online platforms like methods of receiving and paying bills, schemes & offers and all the communication released during this tenure in form of press releases, audio-visual films, social media communication and mass awareness campaigns.
The section also highlights the various corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities undertaken by the company during this pandemic to help the society at large.
