Tata Power Solar Commissions 425 MW Rooftop Projects

India’s largest and fully integrated solar power company, Tata Power Solar has completed commissioning of over 425 MW rooftop projects, over 5.4 GW large projects, and more than 25,000 installations of solar water pumps across the country, the company said in a statement issued late Thursday evening.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, Tata Power Solar operates a large manufacturing unit in Bangalore, with a production capacity of 400 MW of modules and 300 MW of cells. With the completion of more than 5.4GW of large utility-scale projects across the country till date, the company had maintained its leadership position in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segment.
Recently, the company had received the letter of award to build the 300 MW CPSU-II for the public sector energy conglomerate NTPC at an all-inclusive price of Rs 17.30 billion. The company had also recently completed commissioning of 300 MW solar power plant at Pavagada, 100 MW project in Anantapur and 30 MWp Solar Power Plant in Lapanga, Odisha. It has also won an auction conducted by Gujarat for 1000 MW of projects to be built at the Dholera Solar Park.
