In Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) plans to build four bridges and revamp eight. While some in eastern suburbs will be newly built, others in the city will be rebuilt. In the island city, while the junction between Sion-Bandra Link Road and Saint Rohidas Marg, Mahim Causeway above Mithi River and near Mithi river in Dharavi will be revamped, a new flyover is being planned to connect Senapati Bapat Marg and Western Express Highway.

The revamp of three bridges planned in Mumbai and a new flyover is being planned to connect between Senapati Bapat Marg and Western Express Highway. In the eastern suburbs, the BMC plans to widen the flyover near Nahur station and build new flyovers at Vikhroli and Vidyavihar stations and Ghatkopar-Mankhurd.

In eastern suburbs, BMC is planning widening of railway flyovers near Nahur station, Vikhroli station, Vidyavihar station and Ghatkopar-Mankhurd. In the western suburbs, a flyover revamp is being planned in Goregaon (W) near MTNL junction, Borivili (W) above a river at the national park, above Poisar subway in Kandivli and Gokhale flyover in Andheri (W).

The BMC on June 28 said the cost of construction of Jogeshwari bridge has increased from Rs 194 crore to Rs 250 crore. Instead of constructing a bridge on the level-crossing 24 and 25 in Jogeshwari (S), BMC will now build a flyover connecting SV Road and WEH.
