Mumbai Port Trust ( MbPT) plans to take up development of dry dock in Mumbai port/harbour. The port has invited consultancy bids to conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project report (DPR). Earlier, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Shipping and Transport, had announced that he had set up a committee to plan and implement the re-development of the port.
The committee has three months to submit its report.
