It is the most stylish, sleek and light semi-rugged PC in its category As a part of Panasonic India´s continued focus on product differentiation and developing innovative technological solutions, Panasonic presents Toughbook CF-54. With its amazing looks, Toughbook CF-54 is still a semi-rugged PC and the thinnest and lightest in its category.

This PC is suitable for business professionals who are always on the move. The rugged feature means it can also be used by service engineers in the automotive diagnostic industry, fieldwork and other business verticals or mainly for indoor maintenance, all without compromising on aesthetics. It can even be customised with integrated ports, 3G, and dedicated GPS.

The Toughbook CF-54 is a unique tool in its ability to transform the way professionals work. It is 29.8 mm thin and lightweight at just 1.99 kg. This makes it approximately 50 per cent thinner and 25 per cent lighter than the previous model CF-53. The CF-54 is equipped with the new 5th Generation Intel® CoreTM i5-5300U vProTM Processor with a 3 MB cache, 2.3 GHz, up to 2.9 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology and 4Gb RAM, expandable up to 16Gb.

It has a sunlight viewable screen that enhances the screen for easy outside viewing. With a spill resistant keyboard, vibration and shock resistant features, it sets another level in durability. It is built to resist shocks from a 2.5 feet drop. It also has good battery backup with 11 hours of operational backup. It provides an option of hot swapping which enables the user to change batteries without shutting down the computer, allowing work to continue 24X7 if required. It offers an optional smart card reader, fingerprint reader, contactless smart card reader and various interfaces and options like a Serial Port, VGA, PC Card, Rugged USB, 2ndLAN, etc.

These Toughbooks, priced at Rs 1,39,000, are also built for easy integration into existing IT infrastructure and for smooth deployments and ongoing support, providing organisations with longer life-cycles, translating to lower total costs of ownership. With such solutions, Panasonic wants to differentiate itself in the premium segment using innovative technology.
