Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu asked all PSUs under the ministry to undertake more rail projects, while ensuring best practices in tendering process and transparency in their functioning. In a review meeting with the heads of the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) under the administrative control of railways, Prabhu also sought strong presence of all railway PSUs on the social networking sites. He also directed that all the CPSEs should make all-out efforts to exceed their targets and and hand over healthy dividends to the Railways. The minister insisted on meeting the capital expenditure target without fail. He said funds should not be a constraint for the railway projects.
