Having over 15 years of professional experience, Rahul Rao, CEO, Lalitanjali Group, has the ability to wear multiple hats due to his cross functional experience in strategic business planning, profit centre operations, business development, corporate affairs, overall operations, and P&L responsibility.
An MBA in HR, he started his career in the banking sector in Mumbai for over five years which was followed by a stint at Cartogramix, a diversified group which is into project funding and infrastructures where he played an active role in HR- Admin and Marketing operations. He then joined National Bank of Dubai in UAE to head Project Funding, followed by becoming a Director at Geotage Sn. Bhd, a Malaysian company in infrastructure resources management into cross border ventures, PPP, BOO and BOTs.
Prior to starting Lalitanjali Group in 2012, he relocated to Visakhapatnam to join the Ramky Group to Head the Development Division, where he oversaw industrial park development, corporate affairs, strategy planning, key account management, business development, communications, legal cell, civil, estates and media.
A self-starter with keen interest in large scale and greenfield projects, his core strength lies in his ability to source, identify potential business and ensure resource management simultaneously.
