Siddharth Mehta, CEO of DPSC-IPCL, is associated with the company since May 2013. Being at the helm of activities, he is responsible for the entire Transmission & Distribution business of the group along with its wind power vertical.
Prior to joining DPSC, he served as the CEO of Essar Power Distribution Company. His earlier stints with Torrent Power and Tata Power gave him rich industry exposure. And now with his over 30 years of deep sector understanding, Mehta is poised to drive DPSC to greater heights.
A BE (Electrical) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, he started his career with Tata Power and continued with the organisation for a period of 24 years. A veteran in India’s power sector, Mehta has expertise in the fields of power distribution and transmission and specialises in Public-Private Partnership in power field, strategy and business development, project coordination, management and execution; and corporate governance and growth. He has been part of various power sector committees at the state level.
Apart from his work, he is actively involved with activities at the Desh Seva Samiti, an NGO working for the aged. Photography, for which he has won several international awards, is one of his favourite pass times.
