The expansion signals a strategic push to deepen regional connectivity from the national capital, with new flights operating daily or multiple times a week.
Air India Express has announced the launch of seven new direct routes from Delhi, enhancing connectivity to key cultural, economic, and tourism hubs across India. Beginning October 26, the new services will link Delhi with Goa (Dabolim), Imphal, Lucknow, Port Blair, Amritsar, Jodhpur, and Udaipur.
The expansion marks a strategic push to strengthen regional access from the national capital, with flights scheduled to operate daily or multiple times weekly. Bookings are now open via the airline’s website, mobile app, and major travel platforms.
The new services will operate from Terminal 1 (T1) at Delhi Airport for domestic flights, while international operations will continue from Terminal 3 (T3).
This expansion follows Air India Express’s record pace of growth, with over 500 daily flights connecting 43 domestic and 17 international destinations. The airline’s fleet now stands at 115 aircraft, comprising Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s.
“By linking heritage cities, tourism hotspots, and emerging regional centres with Delhi, we are building a truly inclusive and accessible travel network,” the airline stated.
Air India Express also operates over 60 weekly flights from Hindon Airport (Ghaziabad), further extending its footprint across the National Capital Region.
