All permissions in place for Navi Mumbai airport

All Central Government permissions for the Navi Mumbai International Airport have been granted, Chief Secretary Swadhin Kshatriya said. Seven permissions, from the environment and civil aviation ministries were received last month, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi´s countrywide video-conference with chief secretaries. When Modi asked Kshatriya about the status of the airport project, he informed him that a miracle had occurred. ´The state received seven permissions a day before the Pragati (Proactive Governance and Timely Implementation of Schemes) conference and only permission from the Civil Aviation Ministry is pending,´Kshatriya informed Modi.
