Manufacture of Kochi Metro coaches commenced at Sri City manufacturing unit of Alstom Transport India Ltd. The first train set for the Kochi Metro is likely to be delivered by this year end, Elias George, Managing Director, Kochi Metro Rail Ltd, said at the Alstom facility. The company will supply 25 metro train sets to Kochi Metro.
