Shipping firm Asia Med Europe (AME) made International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) on Cochin Port an additional port of call. The service will attach the terminal to Alexandria/Ashdod/Haifa/Mersin.
AME would launch the maiden voyage of the weekly service on March 26. The port rotation is as follows:Cochin (ICTT), Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Alexandria, Haifa, Port Klang, Xiamen, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Port Klang, Cochin (ICTT).
The transit times from the ICTT to Alexandria, Ashdod, Haifa and Mersin will be 12, 13, 15 and 16 days, respectively, while the ICTT will be linked from Xiamen, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Port Klang in 14, 12, 9 and 4 days.
