American Tower Corp has emerged as the front-runner for a majority stake in Viom Networks with an offer of about Rs 19,000 crore. American Tower´s latest bid of about Rs 19,000 crore includes taking over debt of Rs 6,500 crore. Viom´s promoters are seeking Rs 20,000 crore. The ATC offer pegs the price of each tower at Rs 30 lakh compared with Rs 50 lakh sought by Viom´s owners.
