The district electricity committee sent a proposal of Rs.10 crore to the Centre for uninterrupted power supply in Amethi and Musafirkhana Nagar panchayats. Detailing about the proposal, Bharat Singh, Executive Engineer, Power Distribution Section of Amethi district noted that a sum of Rs.4 crore and Rs.6 crore have been proposed for bringing in drastic change in the power supply system of Amethi and Musafirkhana Nagar panchayats respectively.
