On account of its outstanding performance in the energy sector, Andhra Pradesh has emerged as the front runner state at the national level in the field of energy efficiency as per the State Energy Efficiency Preparedness Index released by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and NITI Aayog. Besides, the World Bank has already ranked the state as number one in the Energy Efficiency Implementation Readiness.
