Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed that the state government is planning to set up an industrial corridor in the district, covering the Krishna Wildlife Sanctuary (KWS). Naidu said that Hamsaladeevi is the most ideal location in Andhra Pradesh, as industries that will come up in the area will have easy access to the port of Machilipatnam.
