The Andhra Pradesh government would revoke orders issued by the previous Congress administration extending certain concessions to private port developers before the bifurcation of the united State, Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu has said.

Talking to reporters, Ramakrishnudu said normally a concessionaire agreement would be entered with the private developers setting out certain terms and conditions, which would also include the zone of influence to be given to them.

The previous government in most cases had given right of refusal to the private party up to 60-70 km on either side of the port being developed.

The port, which enjoys the right of refusal, would have to agree if another port has to be developed adjacent to it.
