In a first of its kind deal in the waste management sector, start-up waste-to-energy management solutions provider Aspirify Energy has acquired Clear Water owned G.E.T. Water Solutions, a certified water treatment business. This deal will further fuel AspirifyÂ’s capacity to tap the business potential created by the governmentÂ’s Swachh Bharat and Smart City programmes. Aspirify will further look at investments to the tune of $3-5 million into the growth and capacity expansion of the company.
Aspirify Energy provides extensive services and sustainable solutions in waste-to-energy, solar power and resource regeneration. With this acquisition, it will complement its strength by adding a successful upstream capability to the companyÂ’s portfolio. G.E.T. Water Solutions is a prominent name in southern India for the industrial waste management treatment business with revenue of $3 million last year. The company also specializes in zero liquid discharge.
SujayKalele, Founder, Aspirify Energy India, said, “This acquisition of G.E.T. reaffirms the company’s commitment to expand its capabilities and service offerings to support the waste management segment sector. With this, Aspirify Energy will be well positioned to take advantage of the emerging business opportunities under various initiatives like Smart City Programme, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, and Clean Ganga Missions.”
Aspirify Energy is building MaharashtraÂ’s biggest MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) plant to process 500 tpd and generate 4 to 5 MW of energy. G.E.T.Â’s highly experienced technical team and efficient service back-up will enhance Aspirify EnergyÂ’s various waste-to-energy projects.
