The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) may finally get financial provisions for two of its ambitious projects i.e., the coastal road and the Gargai-Pinjal water supply project. Despite having been approved by the concerned authorities, these projects have been delayed due to various reasons.
Civic sources said that with financial provisions in place, the dice would start rolling for these projects. Around Rs 200 crore is likely to be set aside in the 2015-16 budget for the coastal road while about Rs 140 crore will be kept for the Gargai-Pinjal water supply project.
