India seeks more oil and gas from Qatar
India has sought additional quantities of crude oil and LNG from Qatar. Currently, India has a long-term contract for importing 7.5 million tonne per annum of LNG from Qatar at Petronet LNG's Dahej terminal.
India, Vietnam sign pact on oil & gas cooperation
ONGC Videsh (OVL), and the Vietnam oil and gas group PetroVietnam (PV) have signÂed an agreement on cooperation in the field of oil and gas. The framework agreement was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, who was on a visit to India.
