Govt fixes Solar Mission Phase II tariff at Rs 5.45 a unit
According to the ĂâDraft Guidelines,Ăâ released by the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, it proposes to fix a tariff of Rs 5.45 per kwhr for solar power projects that would be awarded under the Phase II of the National Solar Mission. AP govt to buy solar power at Rs 6.49 per unit
The Andhra Pradesh government on April 23 fixed the benchmark price for purchase of solar power at Rs 6.49 per unit. The Cabinet Sub-Committee on Power fixed the benchmark price at its meeting.
