The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will no longer repair road trenches dug by utility companies. Instead, the civic body has now decided to ask the utility companies to reinstate the roads. Earlier, the BMC used to award the reinstatement work of trenches to the contractors and charge the utilities for this.
