Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) situated in Jharkhand, destroyed all previous records in coal production and dispatch. During fiscal years 2021-2022, the company produced 68.85 million tonnes of coal and dispatched 71.86 million tonnes of coal. Since the company’s start, these figures have been the greatest.

In comparison to the previous fiscal year, the company’s raw coal production increased by 10%. In addition, the average rake loading increased by 4%.

In fiscal 2021-22, the company’s capital expenditure was Rs 2000 crore, representing a 15% increase over the previous year. In FY 2021-22, the business paid Rs 899.10 crore in land compensation and planted 133 hectares of land, compared to a commitment of 110 hectares in FY 22.

Because of the post-Covid-19 issues and the nation’s growing coal demand, the company’s performance becomes even more important.

P M Prasad, CMD of CCL, and the functional directors complimented the whole CCL team on their outstanding performance. This success, according to CMD, CCL, is a testament to the company’s energy warriors’ resilience and determination. He went on to say that the business is committed to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat vision under the leadership of Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi and his team, as well as the supervision of Chairman Coal India Pramod Agrawal.
