The Government of India will be a 50 per cent share-¡holder in the proposed multimodal logistics hub and the multimodal transport hub, which are part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project at Greater Noida.
An in-principle approval has been granted for the proposal by the Government of India as well as the government of Uttar Pradesh, Deepak Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), told the media. Once final, the Centre will also provide 50 per cent funding towards the project.
The projects will sprawl across 461 hectares. ´While the multimodal logistics hub will be constructed across 294 hectares, the multimodal transport hub will be built on 167 hectares,´ said Agarwal.
