Civic bodies to mobilise funds for smart city projs

Ten municipal corporations in Maharashtra, which submitted ´smart city´ proposals, have unanimously opposed tax increase or imposition of new taxes on finance various projects. Instead, they have proposed raising funds through increase in floor space index, exploitation of land, etc.
