Passengers can book premium, chauffeur-driven buses for just ₹199, with round-the-clock service connecting key locations across Noida and Greater Noida.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), led by GMR Airports, is set to launch India’s first luxury bus service connecting Indira Gandhi International Airport with Noida and Greater Noida. Operated by FlixBus, the world’s largest travel-tech brand for intercity bus services, the initiative is scheduled to commence by mid-September and aims to strengthen public transport access, promote sustainable mobility and enhance passenger convenience.

Passengers will be able to book premium, chauffeur-driven buses for just ₹199, with round-the-clock service available across key locations including Noida Sector 16, Botanical Garden, Golf Course Road, Gaur City, Jaypee Wishtown and Pari Chowk. Estimated travel time ranges between 130 and 180 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

“This pioneering initiative reflects our commitment to expanding the public transport network for flyers through world-class solutions,” said Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO, DIAL. “By encouraging greater use of public transportation and reducing dependence on private vehicles, we aim to lower carbon footprints, decongest city roads and set new standards in airport connectivity and passenger comfort.”

Currently, around 20 per cent of Delhi Airport’s passengers use public transport, making it the best-connected airport in India. The new service is expected to further increase this share by offering a reliable and premium alternative for travellers to and from Noida and Greater Noida.

A Luxury Transport Option

FlixBus will operate a fleet of modern buses equipped with reclining seats, USB charging ports, CCTV surveillance, real-time tracking, trained crew and ample luggage space. Tickets can be booked via the FlixBus app, official website (flixbus.in), and major travel platforms including Redbus, MakeMyTrip and Paytm. Offline booking counters will be available at the arrival forecourts of Terminals 1 and 3, with designated boarding points at all terminals.

“Our modern buses and on-board amenities will ensure every journey is smooth and enjoyable,” said Surya Khurana, Managing Director, FlixBus India. “The collaboration with DIAL marks a significant step in our India journey, reflecting our commitment to sustainable mobility and world-class service.”

With this launch, Delhi Airport joins the ranks of global aviation hubs such as Heathrow, Charles de Gaulle, Berlin Brandenburg, Vienna and Amsterdam Schiphol, which offer luxury ground transport options to enhance passenger experience.
