EPFO to invest in G-secs for infra

Retirement fund body Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will park more funds in public sector bonds to boost infrastructure development programmes and continue to invest in equities, Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said. The proposal to change the EPFO’s investment pattern in G-Secs to 65 per cent from 50 per cent is expected to be vetted.
