Highway Amenities Centre

Agro-Tourism Rural Economic Devlopment Programme under PPP Mode-Development of Highway Amenities Centre across State Highway near petrol pump.
The highway amenities centre (HAC) will incor¡porate farmers market, 24×7 tourist facili¡ties centre and rural e-banking. Each HAC will be developed at every 100 k.m. distance.
A co-operative nodal agency with PPP entrepreneur will regulate and monitor function of all HAC, eliminating all intermediate agencies. Through HAC farmers will make use of all HAC as marketing platform of his agro and rural products through e-connectivity.
Products will be available online for sale directly to end dealer/users.
Veraval product can be purchased by Mehasana dealer directly from farmer w/o agent and same will be dispatched directly by truck.
Every HAC will have this facility across the state for farmers and farmer market through internet via inter-connectivity at all HAC and with a full facility centre for tourist.
This will promote Employment and Reverse migrations. Farmers will get better price and customer will get products at lower price.
This will control hoarding, spoilage adulteration, a transparent transaction will curb black marketing.
Gujarat is having highway of about 20,000 k.m. At every 100 k.m. one HAC means 200 HAC in Gujarat state will give 200 platforms for farmer to sell his product across state for best value deal.
Entrepreneurship will be developed among young generation in running this type of HAC, and making himself self employed .
We need to create youth friendly atmosphere in rural area where new generation will not have to migrate to cities. ´If villages will prosper country will prosper.ö Mahatma Gandhiji.
A private entrepreneur will manage entire HAC on his own by charging turnover commission basis, while outsourcing many other services. It will generate new employment and income avenues in rural district and villages. Government must support such development initially for betterment of villages and farmers. This project is duly submitted to government of Gujarat for further consideration for more than 18 months. We have already sent this project to PMO office in June,16th,2014.
