The New West office of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sealed five cellphone towers in different areas of the zone. The department also sealed some service stations, including one in Jodhpurgam and another in Ranip area. Three years back, Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority and the AMC had decided to charge property tax on the mobile towers erected in the city.
