The new Bengaluru-Riyadh service marks IndiGo’s fourth non-stop connection to Saudi Arabia’s capital, following Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline by passenger volumes and fleet, has announced the launch of direct flights between Bengaluru and Riyadh, further strengthening its footprint across the Middle East. Starting November 16, the airline will operate Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route, offering affordable and seamless connectivity between India’s technology hub and Saudi Arabia’s capital.

Riyadh becomes the second city in Saudi Arabia, after Jeddah, to be directly connected to Bengaluru. IndiGo already links India with the four key Saudi cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah, and continues to expand its network across the region. The new route is expected to support rising demand driven by business travel, trade, workforce movement, and tourism between India and the Middle East.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales at IndiGo, said, “As Saudi Arabia’s capital and a key hub for trade and investment, Riyadh is significant for IndiGo to strengthen air connectivity with India. This new route from Bengaluru marks IndiGo’s fourth non-stop connection to Riyadh, after Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. It will enhance accessibility for business and workforce from the region while reinforcing IndiGo’s growing network across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.”

The Bengaluru-Riyadh flight (6E 0053) will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing at 2205 IST and arriving in Riyadh at 0120 AST the following day. The return flight (6E 0054) will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing Riyadh at 0220 AST and arriving in Bengaluru at 0915 IST. All timings are local and subject to regulatory approvals.

Bookings for the new route are now open via IndiGo’s website, mobile app, and authorised travel partners.
