KEC International has bagged new orders of Rs 10.1 billion across its transmission and distribution, cables, civil and solar businesses. KECÂ’s transmission and distribution business has secured a turnkey order of Rs 4,910 million across India, the Middle East and the US.
While its cables business has secured orders of Rs 2,500 million for various types of cable, its solar business bagged orders of Rs 1,950 million from various private players across India. From a leading automobile and cement company, KEC International has bagged orders of Rs 740 million for civil and structural works. “We are delighted with the new order wins, especially in transmission and distribution and civil sector. With the new orders in solar, we are witnessing a gradual revival in the business outlook of the industry,” added Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, KEC International.
