Kerala government has asked its authorities concerned to go ahead with the work on laying gas pipeline from the Kochi LNG terminal to Kasargode. Land required for the purpose has to be acquired as the pipeline passes through seven districts, starting from Kochi to Kasargode.
The State Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on May15 instructed the authorities concerned in this regard. He was speaking at a meeting with GAIL authorities at the State Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram. The Chief Minister also asked the authorities to address the doubts and fears of the people in areas through which the pipeline passes.
