The state-level single window clearance committee in Karnataka has cleared 42 projects worth Rs.3,028 crore, with employment potential for about 7,114 persons.
Out of these projects, eight worth Rs.449 crore were expansion projects and likely to create employment for 939 people, the government announced. The rest of the 34 projects, which are new ones, are worth Rs.2,581 crore and will be creating employment for 6,175 people.
