The AP state government is set to issue a notification to acquire nearly 14,500 acres of private land through the Land Pooling System (LPS) for the Machilipatnam deep sea port and other port-based industries. The final draft of the notification has been tabled before CM Chandrababu Naidu, according to reports. The administration is trying to rake together more than 30,000 acres of land for various industries.
