In order to manage the rooftop solar systems of 390 kW and 650 kW that are situated in its North, South, East, and Anik Chembur yards, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, a public sector venture under the Ministry of Defence, has issued an invitation for bids.
The 390 kW rooftop solar system’s maintenance contract will be in effect until December 10, 2024, and the 650 kW system’s maintenance contract will be in effect until March 21, 2025.
The deadline for proposal submissions is February 21, 2023. Next day, bids will be opened.
The earnest money deposit requirement for bidders is Rs 1,50,000. The winning bidders are required to submit a security deposit equal to 3% of the project’s cost and a 3% performance bank guarantee.
The scope of service includes bimonthly preventive and corrective maintenance on the whole rooftop solar system and its components, as well as monthly cleaning of all solar modules.
A quote per unit is required for the price of delivering, setting up, replacing, and commissioning the mentioned spare components, together with a manufacturer warranty of two years after commissioning. Upon notification, spare components must be replaced within three weeks and in accordance with the current system.
After commissioning, the contractors should deliver 25 kW, 30 kW, and 50 kW inverters with built-in displays from recognised manufacturers, such SMA, DELTA, ABB, KACO, or Waaree, complete with a two-year manufacturer guarantee.
