In Nashik city of Maharashtra, 11 selected roads with heavy traffic density are to be concretised to reduce maintenance works and increase travel comfort on the roads. The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has undertaken the process for concretisation work on the 11 roads.

By concretising the roads, inconvenience could be avoided to the citizens during monsoon, the NMC stated.

NMC has already floated tenders worth Rs 5.24 crore for the road works and the last date of submitting the tenders is October 10. The road from Raviwar Karanja to Red Cross Signal (Mahabal chowk) in ward no 13 of Nashik West division is to be concretised at a cost of Rs 1.82 crore.
